LMS MAHSA is MAHSA University’s Moodle-based learning platform, officially called the MAHSA NEW E-Learning System. Students log in at newelearn.mahsa.edu.my/moodle with their student email (studentID@mahsastudent.edu.my) to open courses, lecture notes, Turnitin assignments, online quizzes and exams, on a computer or in the free Moodle app.

How to Log in to LMS MAHSA (Step by Step)
1- Open the LMS. Go to newelearn.mahsa.edu.my/moodle, or open the MAHSA University website (mahsa.edu.my) and click the e-Learning link. Bookmark the LMS page so you always land on the official site and not on a copy.
2- Enter your username and password. Type your full student email as the username, for example yourstudentID@mahsastudent.edu.my, then your password, and click “Log in”. New students use the default password provided by MAHSA.
3- Change the default password. If you signed in with the default password, set a new private password right away. The default one is publicly known, so leaving it unchanged puts your account, grades and submissions at risk.
Forgot Your MAHSA LMS Password? How to Reset It
MAHSA sends password reset links to your student email, so make sure your MAHSA student Gmail is activated first (there is an “Activate Gmail” guide on the LMS home page).
1- On the login page, click “Forgotten your username or password?”
2- Enter your username or your student email address and click “Search”.
3- Sign in to your MAHSA student email (studentID@mahsastudent.edu.my) at gmail.com and open the reset message. Check the Spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.
4- Click the link in the email.
5- Set your new password and click “Save changes”.
MAHSA LMS Login Problems and Quick Fixes

Never type your LMS password into a site other than newelearn.mahsa.edu.my. Several unofficial “MAHSA LMS login” pages exist online; they are not run by the university.
What You Can Do in MAHSA LMS
The LMS holds almost everything you need during the semester: announcements, timetables, course outlines and study schedules, lecture notes and recordings, online quizzes and exams, Turnitin assignment submission, reference materials and links to library services. The LMS home page also links student services such as the student evaluation and satisfaction surveys, the residence ticketing system and online payment.
After you log in, your name, messages and the notification bell are at the top right. The dashboard sits in the centre and the main menu in the side block; you can hide the side blocks for a larger view.
How to Open a Course
1- Go to “My courses” and click the course you want to study.
2- The course page opens. Content sits in the centre and is split into sections; the first section usually holds general course information, and the following sections hold weekly or topic-based resources and activities set by your lecturer.
How to Submit an Assignment through Turnitin
1- Click the Turnitin assignment your lecturer created, then click “Submit Paper”.
2- Enter a submission title and upload your file.
3- A submission summary page confirms your upload. Keep it as proof of submission. Open the Originality Report when it is ready to check the similarity score before the deadline.
How to Take Online Quizzes and Exams
- Click the quiz on the course page and read the instructions to confirm it is the right one.
- Click “Attempt quiz now”, then “Start attempt”.
- Use “Next” to move through pages, or the Quiz navigation block to jump to any question. Use the flag to mark questions you want to review.
- Click “Finish attempt”, review your answers, then “Submit all and finish”. After submitting you can no longer change your answers.
Use a stable internet connection and a laptop for timed exams; the app works for quizzes, but a dropped connection on a phone is the most common cause of lost time.
How to Use MAHSA LMS on Your Phone (Moodle App)
1- Install the free Moodle app from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). There is no separate “MAHSA LMS” app.
2- Choose “I’m a learner” and enter the site address newelearn.mahsa.edu.my/moodle.
3- Log in with the same username and password you use on the website. You can then read course materials, get notifications and submit some activities from your phone.
