How to apply for Student Visa?

The Malaysian government has simplified the application process for student visas. Students who plan to study in Malaysia are no longer required to contact the Malaysian embassy or consulate in their home country. Let’s go over the application process in detail:

1- Contact the University or College you have eligibilities for: Students can apply for a student pass directly from the university of their choice, providing complete information in their application. If you do not have a passport that is valid for more than a year, your student pass will not be processed.

2- Wait for Acceptance Confirmation: Students will be notified of their application status. Within 7 days, the notification of acceptance is sent via the Malaysian Immigration Department.

3- Submit the Required Documents: Submit all of the above-mentioned documents to the university of choice in order to obtain a student visa to study in Malaysia.

4- Student Pass Confirmation: The university will send a letter confirming the student pass, and the Malaysian Immigration Department will issue a letter of approval.

5- Inform the Institution of Your Flight Details: Share airport location, flight number, and expected arrival date and time with your university. A representative from the university will meet you at the airport and go over all of the details with you. The Malaysian Immigration Department will issue you a student pass within two weeks.
