Assessment and Evaluation

The SIS curriculum emphasizes a cumulative structure in which course work serves as the foundation for a student’s assessment and evaluation throughout the semester. This keeps students informed about their academic responsibilities, and teachers can quickly spot areas where students need to improve.

SIS promotes active learning by encouraging autonomous study, research, self-exploration, and self-discovery through a complete teaching framework.

The assessment and evaluation strategy is based on a 70 percent ongoing assessment and a 30% final evaluation. Performance-based learning accounts for 70% of the course work, which includes daily class participation and presentations, lab reports, videos, quizzes, independent research, and unit examinations. Academic success, punctuality, and attendance are all thoroughly monitored by teachers. At the mid-term and end of the semester, parents receive progress reports.

Pathways to Academic Success

SIS helps students keep track of their academic plans and obligations, complementing the comprehensive and student-centered curriculum. This includes planning university education and professional qualifications, as well as identifying avenues and possibilities.
