APU Intake Calendar 2026

APU offers multiple intake dates throughout the year across foundation, diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. Bachelor’s degrees typically have 2–3 intakes, Master’s coursework programmes have 2 intakes (August and November), and Master’s by Research, PhD, and DBA programmes offer up to 5 monthly intakes from August to December. APLC Intensive English sessions run every 4 weeks.

International students should apply at least 2 months before the intended commencement date to allow time for visa and Student Pass processing.

Minimum English Language Requirements

Students must meet minimum English proficiency standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education. Those who do not meet requirements can apply for a student visa conditionally and enrol in the APU English Language Certification programme upon arrival, then take IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or MUET. If proficiency is not achieved within 12 months, students must return home.
