Students learn strong business concepts by analyzing real-world business issues and comparing Asian and European business issues. You will be able to evaluate complex business scenarios in an Asian-European context and develop new business applications, insights, and strategies over the successful completion of this course.

Program Outline

APU MBA EuroAsia Business aims to teach students:

• Students acquire understanding, analytical thinking, and applied skills in business management and strategy in the Pacific Rim, which opens doors to Asia and its developing giants, as well as European views.
• The Master of Business Administration (Euro-Asian Business) is based on current business theories and practices. Students gain significant business concepts by applying them to real-world business difficulties as well as comparative business issues between Asia and Europe.

 Courses

APU MBA (Euro Asia Business) consists of 10 academic courses (including 1 on research methodology) and a project. The courses aim to provide students with the knowledge, skills, methodologies, and personal characteristics required to obtain and succeed in a suitable job or further studies, as well as a thorough understanding of different strategies to conducting business and administration in Europe and Asia.

Project

You will be expected to undertake qualified business research in Europe and Asia for both academic and industry goals. Either path requires the preparation and carrying out of effective academic research in relation to the performance of substantial and substantive individual research and analysis in relation to an aspect of Euro Asia Business leading to a significant project or the completion of suitable research and analysis leading to one of an academic paper, consultancy report, or case study in relation to an aspect of Euro Asia Business.

APU-DMU Dual Degree

Students enrolled in the Masters Degree Program will have the option to participate in the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Students will receive two Degree Certificates and Transcripts upon graduation under this Scheme: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and one from De Montfort University (DMU) in the United Kingdom.

Admission Requirements

General Requirement

A Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the Senate.

A Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.

A Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.

A Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses.
