MAHSA (Malaysian Allied Health Sciences Academy) was established in 2005 by Professor Tan Sri Dr. Hj. Mohamed Haniffa, whose ambition is to establish a bastion of academic excellence in the South-East Asian region.
Professor Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Haniffa is a clinical practitioner of medicine and the Pro-Chancellor of MAHSA University as well as the Executive Chairman of MAHSA Group, under whose leadership MAHSA University has grown to become a full-fledged Malaysian higher education institution with diploma programs in Medicine, Biosciences, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Nursing, Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, Information Technology, and Engineering.

The vision of MAHSA University is to generate qualified and caring professionals to fulfill the needs of the country in accordance with national goals and government transformation plans in the twenty-first century.
The new 48-acre campus in Bandar Saujana Putra is the physical manifestation of that aim. MAHSA University now boasts students from 75 different countries, including Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Canada, in addition to the Asian region.
MAHSA University is fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and has been granted ONLINE UNIVERSITY accreditation by the Malaysian Ministry of Education.
Moving into the third decade of the twenty-first century and aligning with the demands and capabilities of IR4.0, MAHSA intends to lead research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in its areas of competence. MAHSA’s online university designation enables it to provide border-less education through its dynamic Learning Management System (LMS), which extends education beyond the bounds of physical expectations.

The Faculty of Medicine, Bioscience, and Nursing is the largest faculty of the university and supports MAHSA reputation as a renowned institute for health care training. The three schools represent the synergy of medical, nursing, and laboratory support care that is essential in everyone’s health and wellness journey.
Faculty of Dentistry
Being a dentist offers the rewarding opportunity to significantly improve an individual’s life by creating beautiful and healthy smiles. Dentistry, a complex and challenging field, is also known as maxillofacial dentistry and encompasses the prevention and treatment of oral health issues. Dental surgeons are professionals who assist people in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health.

Partner institutions may send students to study abroad for up to two consecutive semesters under the MAHSA Student Exchange Program. Scholarships
Blue Ribbon Scholarship: Students that are enrolled in a pathway program are rewarded with the Blue Ribbon Scholarship. The credit exemption ranges from 30% to 50% to facilitate ongoing education.
Foundation Scholarship: Students who successfully finish SPM and O Levels are eligible for the merit-based Foundation Scholarship.
Haji Abdullah Academic Excellence Scholarship: Students who have overcome their disadvantaged upbringings to achieve academic and extracurricular excellence are eligible for the Haji Abdullah Academic Excellence Scholarship.
Family Scholarship: The Family Scholarship helps a MAHSA Student/entire Alumni’s family pursue higher education.
