Program Outline
The program aims to teach students:
- Opportunity for improved professional growth in the field of cyber security.
- Enhancement of Cyber Security skills and knowledge for working IT professionals.
- The student must be able to build on the specialization they have learned in taught modules by doing a large study or technical dissertation that prepares them to become an expert in the field.
- Furthermore, APU is prepared to become a leader in cyber security research with the construction of the Forensics and Cyber Security (FSEC) Research Centre, which will perform research to push forward the limits of cyber security application.

Project
You are required to finish a lengthy project paper on cyber security as part of this course, which can be used for both academic and professional objectives. The primary supervisor for this project paper will be an academic staff member.
It could involve working together with someone else (often one that is closely related to your organization, work, or any of our business partners). You have a great deal of flexibility in choosing any Cyber Security-related subject matter for your research paper.
As for the tasks, you must create a prototype, simulation, framework, etc. (this is not an exhaustive list); also, you must write one project paper and a publishable summary of the work for a conference or journal.
APU-DMU Dual Degree
Students enrolled in the Masters Degree Program will have the option to participate in the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Students will receive two Degree Certificates and Transcripts upon graduation under this Scheme: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and one from De Montfort University (DMU) in the United Kingdom.
