APU BA of Forex and Investment aims to teach students with:
- The skill to study, understand, and buy or sell foreign money in the FOREX market. At the same time, learn how to create a personal trading plan that matches your way of trading, your daily life, and how much risk you are comfortable with.
- The needed abilities, main skills, and important knowledge for the business world of today.

- The ability to make and look at financial papers, and also to guide and be a leader in their companies.
- Knowledge about modern financial technology (FinTech) and important skills related to Accounting and Finance.
Degree Level 1
In year 1, students of APU BA Forex and Investment will acquire the essential skills every accounting and finance expert needs, along with a foundational grasp of the legal, commercial, and societal context in which accounting functions. They will get familiar with business workflows using accounting software and the globally renowned enterprise management tool, SAP. Students will receive practical training on this system.

Degree Level 2
In their studies, students will learn more about the usual areas of Accounting and Finance. This includes topics like managing accounts, taxes, managing company money, detailed company reports, and looking into financial records. Being good with technology is very important. It helps students learn by themselves and prepares them for work and more studies later. So, they will study subjects like “New Tech for Accounting and Finance” and “How to Study Data in Accounting and Finance.”

Internship
To bridge the gap between academic and professional worlds, students will experience an Internship or Industrial Training for at least 16 weeks. This ensures they transition smoothly from academic settings to real world jobs.
Degree Level 3
Building on what they have learned before and from real world experience, students will study practical trading techniques in the field of investment. This is to help them become leaders in this subject. They will also learn more about the world of investment, especially how to use investment wisely by managing risks. After coming back from their practical training or internship, students will study special courses that help them think deeply about what they have learned. One of these courses is called ‘Reflective Practice in Accounting & Finance’. Students will also learn about the impact of their decisions on the environment, the community, and how organizations are run, through courses on Environment, Society, and Governance (known as ESG). They will also work on a big project in their last year to show what they’ve learned in their main area of study.

APU-DMU Dual Degree
Students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Program are presented with the opportunity to join the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. By choosing this pathway, upon graduation, students will be awarded two Degree Certificates & Transcripts: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and another from De Montfort University (DMU) in the UK.
