APU BA in Banking and Finance aims to teach students:

Degree Level 1
In year 1, Students will acquire essential abilities needed by all banking and finance experts, along with the foundational of business management and finance. Additionally, APU will introduce them to business communication competencies, accounting expertise, and leadership abilities.

Degree Level 2

They will also get familiar themselves with tools and assessments for different financial markets using Econometric software. Moreover, practical training will be provided on foundational technologies that help to solve FinTech solutions, including Python and R-programming.

Internship
To bridge the gap between academic and professional worlds, students will experience an Internship or Industrial Training for at least 16 weeks. This ensures they transition smoothly from academic settings to real-world job scenarios.
Degree Level 3
Using what they have learned before and their work experience, students will study how banking works in the real world and how banking ideas change globally. APU aims to prepare them to be leaders in the banking and finance field. In their last year, they will work on a project by themselves about a specific topic, showing what they have learned and how they can use it.

APU-DMU Dual Degree
Students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Program are presented with the opportunity to join the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. By choosing this pathway, upon graduation, students will be awarded two Degree Certificates & Transcripts: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and another from De Montfort University (DMU) in the UK.

| STPM | • 2 Passes in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.33) and a Pass in English and Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent. |
| A-Level | • 2 Passes in A-Level in any 2 subjects, and a Credit in Mathematics and a Pass in English at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent. |
