They are offering deserving & bright school leavers a wide range of fee Awards leading to rebates/discounts as part of our ongoing efforts to improve possibilities for higher education at Malaysia’s Award-Winning University.

APU Scholarships

Asia Pacific University (APU) gives Scholarships and Merit Awards to new international students. These awards are given on a first come, first serve basis.

This is our way to help students study at our top university in Malaysia. We offer these fee reductions to deserving students.

If you’ve competed in big sports events like the Olympics, SEA Games, Youth Olympics, Asian Games, World Cups, or Commonwealth Games, you might get a Merit Award. We’ll look at each case individually.

These Merit Awards can lower your fees. They offer discounts as follows:

At the conclusion of each academic year, recipients of Merit Awards must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.

Conditions of the Awards

  1. The university gives awards offering fee reductions on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students can secure these by paying an application and processing fee of RM 2450 (USD 600).
  2. All candidates must satisfy the minimum entry requirements and maintain a CGPA of 3.0 to continue receiving the fee awards in the following years, if applicable. If these academic standards are not met, the award may be terminated or suspended.
  3. The distribution of all awards by APU/APIIT lies entirely within the discretion of the Scholarships & Merit Awards Committee.
  4. The awards only cover course or tuition fees. The recipient of the award will have to cover all other costs, such as registration fees, accommodation, deposits, partner university fees, fees for resist or retakes, and living and travel expenses, based on the award’s terms.
  5. The awards cannot be exchanged or converted into cash, either partially or fully.
  6. All award applicants must satisfy the Award Academic Entry Requirements with their actual results. The university reserves the right to decide the number of awards for each program.
  7. Recipients of the awards must demonstrate excellent behavior and comply with all rules, regulations, and the Professional Code of Conduct outlined by APU/APIIT.
  8. The award recipients are required to attend all classes, lectures, tutorials, and lessons related to their course or program of study without fail.
  9. Recipients must fulfill all requirements related to the completion of assignments, projects, and exams required by their course of study.
  10. The awards are valid for studies at APU/APIIT in Malaysia only and do not apply to studies at overseas partner universities.

Application Deadline

The deadline for this International Scholarship & Merit Awards is 24th March 2024. We must receive the full set of documents for scholarship application on or before this date. All Scholarships & Merit Awards are on first come first serve basis.
