UCSI Postgraduate Programs and Fees 2026-2027

UCSI Postgraduate Fees 2026

The following tables present total estimated fees for international students, including tuition, lab/other fees, facilities, and administration. Fees are based on UCSI’s official international fee schedule, updated 8 June 2026 on UCSI website.
A 6% service tax applies to international student fees effective July 2025.

1. What is the cheapest UCSI postgraduate programme for international students?

The Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Teaching (RM35,312 / USD 7,470) and Graduate Certificate in Aesthetic Assistant with Wellness (RM35,978 / USD 7,610) are the most affordable postgraduate options.

2. How much does the UCSI MBA cost for international students?

The UCSI MBA costs RM72,624 (approximately USD 15,360) for the full programme, including all fees. The ODL mode costs RM64,396 (USD 13,620).

3. How much does a UCSI PhD cost for international students?

PhD fees range from RM64,453 (PhD by Prior Publication) to RM106,565 (PhD in Music Performance), depending on the faculty and programme. Most PhDs take 3 years (minimum 9 semesters).

4. Does UCSI charge lab fees for postgraduate programmes?

Yes, lab fees apply for science, engineering, and pharmacy programmes. These are included in the total fees shown above. Some programmes also charge thesis examination and research methodology fees.

5. Is there a service tax for international students at UCSI?

Yes, effective July 2025, a 6% service tax applies to all fees for non-Malaysian citizens, including tuition, accommodation, and scholarships.

6. What is the UCSI refundable deposit for postgraduate students?

International postgraduate students pay a refundable deposit of RM1,000 (USD 270), claimable upon programme completion or withdrawal, provided no outstanding fees are owed.
