Why Choose AUSMAT?
Sunway AUSMAT holds the record for being the most enduring and largest provider of the Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE) in Malaysia, with over 30 years of demonstrated academic success.
- A Globally Recognized Australian Government Qualification: The WACE is a certificate that’s acknowledged by universities around the world, including competitive higher learning institutions in countries like Canada, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, the EU, and the USA.
- Diversity, Flexibility, and Plenty of Choices: Sunway AUSMAT gives students a lot of choices. There are many subjects and hundreds of possible subject combinations, giving students the chance to explore different academic and career interests.
- Balanced and Unique Way of Grading: How well students do in the course is based on two things: 50% comes from grades given by AUSMAT teachers, and the other 50% comes from official exams done by the Department of Education in Western Australia. This way of grading takes off some of the pressure of one big end-of-year exam. It also gives students many chances to get better grades during the school year.
- Learning Skills for the 21st Century: Sunway AUSMAT meets different learning needs with in-person teaching, a mix of online and in-person learning, and using educational technology. AUSMAT helps spark students’ interest and gives them important skills for the 21st century. These include how to solve problems, think analytically, be creative, and how to keep learning throughout their lives.
