UCSI University is in three places: KL, Kuching, and Springhill. In this post we explain more about where you can stay when you study there. It’s pretty cool, with different choices in each place. Whether you like the busy city, peaceful countryside, or something in between, UCSI has a place for you to live while you learn.
Kuala Lumpur Campus
Student Affairs & Alumni is in charge of the Accommodation unit of the Alumni & Support Services Department. Part of their role as management is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the hostel, to establish security and safety in the residential halls, to ensure that integration between residents is maintained, and that the hostel’s rules and regulations are followed, in order for students to enjoy their learning and living at UCSI University.
Objectives
USCI Kuala Lumpur pledged to provide students with:
- A safe and secure living environment that is comfortable and clean
- The confidence that its inhabitants have possibilities for personal development and growth
- Their collective and individual understanding and rapid response to the requirements of their resident-students
- The independence of self-catering lodging or the more traditional atmosphere of a catered residence

It involves ensuring that students enjoy the experience of living in a high-quality environment. UCSI University provides students with a healthy living environment as well as services that aid in their learning and growth.
Students can choose to live in either the on-campus residential halls or the off-campus condominium-styled accommodations at UCSI University. They also provide temporary housing for our students and visitors who are here for a short period of time.
On-campus Accommodation – (Residential Halls)
Their Residential Halls offer twin-sharing rooms in blocks E and D. Block E has a limited number of single rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The Hall is divided by male and female quarters and has a communal visiting area for family and friends.
For students who wish to live on campus, the University provides a complete on-campus housing program.

Off-campus Accommodation – (Angkasa Condo)
Kuala Lumpur’s off-campus hostel is located in a condominium near the campus in UCSI accommodation. Each unit has a large living room, dining area, and kitchen, as well as a shared bathroom (master bedroom has an attached toilet and shower). It also has basic shared living amenities such as a dining table, chairs, a kitchen sink, a washing machine, air conditioning, and WIFI.

Kuching Campus
Their hostels have fully furnished single and twin-sharing rooms in a retail atmosphere.
For UCSI University Kuching Campus students, the commercial outlets provide convenient off-campus housing at UCSI Accommodation. While it is only 8 minutes’ walk from university, students have access to daily organized shuttle journeys to and from campus, as well as weekend outings to downtown shopping centers for shopping and entertainment.

Off-campus Accommodation
As a UCSI Accommodation, the hostel at UCSI Springhill also provides a peaceful and comfortable setting for academic pursuits. WIFI is available, and there is plenty of space for socializing and dining. The dining area has dining tables and chairs. The kitchen is outfitted with an induction cooktop, a refrigerator, and a kitchen cabinet. A shared bathroom with a hot shower and a washing machine for laundry. The main bedroom features a connected toilet and a hot shower.

1. What are the living expenses at UCSI?
- The cost of living for international students studying at UCSI is reasonably modest, ranging from USD350 to USD420 per month (including housing), depending on the needs and lifestyle of the individual student.
2. What is the parking rate at UCSI University?
- Visitors to the UCSI University Kuala Lumpur campus are always welcome. Although there is a parking cost of RM2.00 per entry, visitors will be given gratis parking for registration, counselling, or course-related queries. Payment is made while exiting the campus through the front gate.
