Geomatics is the study and application of three-dimensional measurement, cartography, and visualization technologies. It is one of the most rapidly expanding IT sectors in the world today. Diploma in Geomatics
The Diploma in Geomatics curriculum provided by the department has been approved by the Licensed Land Surveyors Board of Malaysia and is intended to meet all criteria for registration as a Licensed Land Surveyor in Malaysia. Graduates are also entitled to join the Institution of Surveyors of Malaysia (ISM) as a professional member and acquire facilities from a range of sources, such as satellite observation, ocean and land equipment, and sensors placed in space.
