This laboratory provides veterinary education services as well as veterinary research.

The Veterinary Laboratory Services Unit (VLSU) is a group of laboratories that operate under the laboratory quality management system LQMS, which is approved by MS ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and MS ISO 9001:2015.

Haematology & Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory
Complete Haematology, Coagulation analysis, Clinical Biochemistry, Urinalysis, Cytology and Faecal Examination.
Histopathology Laboratory
This laboratory is in charge of managing samples or cases for diagnostic, educational, and research purposes.
Parasitology Laboratory
Endo/ecto parasite identification, blood examination Faecal examination, organ examination, parasite enumeration, and PCR.
Bacteriology Laboratory
Aerobic and anaerobic bacteria isolation and identification, zoonotic pathogens such as Brucella and Leptospira species, foodborne pathogens such as Salmonella and Campylobacter, fungus, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, total and coliform plate count.
Virology Laboratory
Virus isolation in eggs/tissue culture, virus identification HA/HI testing, serum neutralization test, and immunofluorescent test.
Aquatic Laboratory
Comprehensive testing for bacteria and viruses, as well as all fish and shrimp diseases, is available via culture and molecular diagnostics, as well as water quality screening.
