The services offered by the university are a coordinated set of infrastructures built to improve the provision of services and support for initiatives that further the institution educational goal and vastly improve campus life.

Every effort is made to ensure that the residential life experience of students will support their academic program and encourage their overall growth.

Residence life is a special experience. Staying in a University of Putra Malaysia residence is an extension of students’ university education, where they can benefit from all the facilities and services such as student learning centers, social and sporting activities, life-skills and peer-tutoring programs.
A residence is a community in which one meets a range of diverse students and forges life-long friendships.

On-Campus Accommodation

Since there are a very limited number of apartments and rooms in residential colleges, students are urged to make reservations for their lodging before arriving at UPM.
The price of on-campus housing can range from RM300 to RM1,000 per month or USD100 to USD500.

1- International Residential College

The International Residential College is a comfortable place to live on campus, right near the International Center.

It has lots of useful amenities like a kitchen, TV rooms, study spaces, meeting rooms, an activity room, a prayer room, a computer room, a cafeteria, and laundry facilities. The cost of staying there depends on the type of room you choose.

• Provide 160 apartments complete with furniture and home appliances

With its location on campus, you will have quick access to the academic and administrative buildings as well as other university resources.
Smart Selangor bus routes are available for residents to use for both on- and off-campus commuting.

KMR OnePutra is in charge of managing the catering, retail services, and food and drink for UPM.

Off-Campus Accommodation UPM

A 1 to 10 kilometer radius surrounds the UPM campus where off-campus housing is available.
Numerous flats, serviced apartments, townhomes, and terrace homes are available.
The price might range from RM 500 to RM 2,000 per month or USD150 to USD650.

PUTRA Bus

PUTRA®BUS is an application that provides real-time updates on the campus bus service at University Putra Malaysia. This includes live location of the buses and their arrival times to designated bus stations which enables users to plan their trips more efficiently with less waiting time.

The project is an academia-industry initiative betweeen the Student Affairs Division (UPM), Research Management Centre (UPM), Faculty of Engineering (UPM) and MYGPS (M) Sdn Bhd.
