MAHSA University offers a variety of scholarships aimed at recognizing and rewarding deserving and outstanding students. These scholarships provide financial assistance to help students achieve their academic goals without financial constraints, allowing them to focus entirely on their studies.

Yayasan Scholarship
A nonprofit organization founded by the founder of the IOI Group that awards scholarships for the first or second year of undergraduate or graduate studies in particular subjects at public and private universities.
After graduating, MAHSA‘s scholarship candidates will be expected to work for the IOI Group in various Malaysian locations. The length of the bond will be determined by the scholarship award.
Undergraduate Academic Requirements
For Bachelor’s Degree:
- STPM/A Level – minimum 2As
- Unified Examination of Chinese Schools (UEC-SM3)
- Foundation – CGPA of a minimum of 3.5 out of 4.00
- Australian TER – minimum 90.0
- First/Second-year undergraduates must have a current CGPA of at least 3.3, Upper Second-Class Honors or equivalent.
Other Requirements
Additional requirements include strong extracurricular accomplishments and shown leadership abilities for applicants.
After successfully completing your education, be prepared to fulfill an employment bond with IOI Group.
It must not be obligated to work in the future and not be getting any scholarships from other organizations.
Pre-Degree Programs and Foundation Studies are not open to applicants at this time.
Scholarship Coverage
The scholarship covers up to 2,000,000 ringgit (460K USD) in tuition fees.
MIC YOUTH Scholarship
1,500 Indian children from low-income families are eligible for scholarships under the MIC Youth Scholarship Program to pursue higher education.
To help graduates of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM), the scholarship program will provide scholarships totaling 16.8 million ringgit (3.8 million USD) .
Yayasan Sime Darby Scholarship
The charitable division of Sime Darby Plantation Berhad, Sime Darby Property Berhad, and Sime Darby Berhad is known as Yayasan Sime Darby.
The Foundation has grown its reach over the years, moving beyond providing scholarships to worthy and exceptional students to sponsoring successful conservation, outreach, and development initiatives.
YSD is now providing scholarships and bursaries to qualified Malaysians for undergraduate study in domestic and international universities as well as for vocational courses, certificates, and diplomas.
More than 4,440 students have benefited from our scholarships over the past 30 years. For Malaysians and foreign nationalities from regions where Sime Darby Berhad, Sime Darby Plantation Berhad, and Sime Darby Property Berhad have operations, YSD granted 461 scholarships and bursaries in several disciplines in 2019.
Intel Scholarship
Intel Malaysia grants scholarships every year to outstanding talents from various local and private universities throughout the country.
Eligibility Criteria
- Have a Malaysian passport
- Study electrical and electronics, computer science and engineering, information technology, Mechatronics, physics, or computer engineering full-time at a local institution.
- Not currently receiving any other scholarships from businesses, institutions, or Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA)
- SPM with A1 in all science and math areas
- STPM with at least three subjects receiving an A
- Graduation from high school with a total GPA of at least 3.5
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required for college freshmen.
Scholarship Coverage
- RM10,000 per year for undergraduate students
- Up to RM15,000 per year for Master students
- Up to RM30,000 per year for Ph.D. students
Yayasan Daya Diri Scholarship
It is a local private university scholarship as well as pre-university and overseas university scholarships.
Eligibility Criteria
- Overseas University Scholarships
- Malaysian Bumiputera
- Must possess strong academic, extracurricular, and personal achievements
- Have gained at least conditional admission to a relevant institution
- Fulfill other required personal traits and selection criteria
- Pre-University Scholarships
- Malaysian Bumiputera (including Peribumi Sabah, Sarawak and Orang Asli) whose total household income not exceeding RM4,850 per month;
- Minimum 7As (A and A+, including English) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM);
- Strong in academics and extra co-curricular activities;
- Fulfil other required personal traits and selection criteria.
- Local Private University Scholarships
- Malaysian Bumiputera whose total household income not exceeding RM4,850 per month;
- Have secured admission to the relevant institution, starting their first year;
- Minimum CGPA 3.0 in foundation programme, or first-semester degree program;
- Strong in academics and extra co-curricular activities;
- Fulfil other required personal traits and selection criteria.
Scholarship Coverage
The complete cost of tuition and living expenses, as defined by the institution, are covered by the scholarship.

Yayasan UEM Scholarship Programs are for Undergraduate Overseas Scholarship, Undergraduate Local Scholarship and Professional Qualification Scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduate Overseas Scholarship
- Excellent academic track record in Form 4 and Form 5
- Obtained a minimum of 7As (A+/As) in relevant subjects in SPM examination
- Undergraduate Local Scholarship
- Obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50
- Obtained 7A+/A in SPM examination
- Professional Qualification Scholarship
- A fresh graduate of Malaysia’s national public university (IPTA) with a bachelor’ Degree in either Business (Finance/Business Management/Accounting/Economics) or Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) only
- Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum 2:1 or CGPA of 3.5
- STPM/Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 3.5
- Must obtain A in SPM’s English and Mathematics
