UPM Postgraduate Intakes and Application Deadlines 2026
UPM master intake 2026 and UPM PhD intake 2026 follow three academic calendar systems depending on programme type. The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) oversees all postgraduate admissions. Below are the detailed intake schedules for each category.

The Master of Medicine programmes are available to local Malaysian students only, with two intakes per year (June and December).
NOTE: After 12:01 on the application deadline, the system will automatically close the semester intake. Late applications will be transferred to the next available intake.
UPM Undergraduate Intakes and Admission 2026
UPM offers undergraduate programmes on a full-time and part-time basis. Part-time options include the Executive Programme and Distance Learning Programme. The main intake typically occurs in September or October each year.
Full-time undergraduate candidates apply via the MOHE Online Application System after the intake is advertised in local newspapers.

UPM is the only Malaysian university offering a Foundation in Agricultural Science, serving as a pathway to science-based undergraduate degrees. International students should refer to the international undergraduate application guidelines or register via the UPM international admission portal.
