APU and KVA Join Forces for Technology Advancements

The Asia Pacific institution of Technology and Innovation is a Malaysian private institution that began its activities in 1993.

APU and the Korea Valuation Association (KVA) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance their cooperation in technological research, development, and education. The MOU, signed on September 25th, marks the beginning of a promising partnership between the two organizations.

APU, renowned for its robust history in teaching and technological advancement, is a leading private higher education institution in Malaysia. The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) granted it the Premier Digital Tech University status. APU offers a diverse array of technology-focused degree programs. Conversely, KVA, a prominent company in Korea, actively supports startups and participates in the commercialization and valuation of technology.

Enhancing current technology practices, promoting research and development (R&D) in the startup space, and allowing information and technology transfer between academic and industrial participants are some of the main goals of this collaboration.
Dr. Keeheon Cho expressed wholehearted support for the collaboration, stating, “KVA is committed to promoting technology commercialization and entrepreneurship. This partnership with APU will enable us to leverage each other’s strengths and create a meaningful impact in the field.”
Under the terms of the agreement, both sides will select candidates, students, or staff to participate in various activities, with the hosting party offering mentorship and resources as needed. APU will give academic assistance and facility access, while KVA will provide expertise and support for friendly R&D projects.

The newly formed alliance between APU and KVA aims to enhance the synergy between academia and industry, thereby improving international research and advancing the technology landscape. APU and KVA are about to usher in a new era of technological research and teaching.
