Visa Requirements for International Students

TIS is a day school — students must reside with parent(s) or a legal guardian (court-issued guardianship documents required). Certain visa holders (Employment Pass, MM2H, PVIP, Digital Nomad) need a yearly Permission to Study stamp. Others require a Student Pass, which includes one Guardian Pass and dependent passes for siblings under 3.

TIS prepares enrolment documents and applies for an MOE Letter of Support. Immigration approval can take up to three months — begin early. Enrolment is conditional upon holding valid Malaysian Immigration visas.

Payment Methods and Bank Details

Payments accepted by credit/debit card or online/telegraphic transfer. For overseas transfers, all bank fees must be covered by the sender so the full Ringgit amount reaches the school’s account. Include the student’s name as reference and email the transaction slip to admissions.
