Board of Governance
The Board of Governors at Taylor’s International School is in charge of overseeing the school’s operations in compliance with the Companies Act and the Education Act of 1996.
The Board’s duties include setting and adopting a long-term development plan for the school, approving significant curriculum changes that have a significant impact on what is taught in the school, and ensuring that the quality of teaching and learning in the school meets the requirements of the mission and purpose statement.
Principal
Peter Wells
Peter, a proud English and physics teacher, previously worked in Hong Kong and then the UK before moving to Malaysia in 1998.
He achieved the UK professional headship certificate NPQH in 2007 and credits his leadership experiences with balancing the academic and guidance facets of a child’s development.
Head of Primary
Anne Marie Nield
For 11 of her 21 years as a teacher, Anne Marie Nield worked as a top leader in the primary sector.
After graduating from Leeds University with a degree in English, Anne Marie worked as a teacher in the North of England and two prestigious institutions in the Middle East.
Head of Secondary
Edward Bantry White
Edward was born in Ireland, but since 1993, he has resided in a number of other nations.
Following his 1996 graduation from Southampton University with a B.Sc. in Geography (Climatology), he went on to earn a PGCE in Geography and History from Keele University in 1997.
He has been a teacher for 24 years, 21 of those in international schools in Mexico, India, and the United Arab Emirates.
