The Jeffrey Cheah Foundation: A Legacy of Educational Support
The Jeffrey Cheah Foundation, established on March 18, 2010, by Malaysia’s Prime Minister, replaced the Sunway Education Trust Fund, which was founded in 1997. Created by Tan Sri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah, AO, the foundation reinvests all surplus funds into scholarships, research, and campus facilities. As of 2021, the foundation has awarded over RM570 million in scholarships, demonstrating its commitment to supporting education.

Attach the following documents to your online scholarship application:
- SPM/ STPM/ Diploma/ Foundation/Pre-University/ Matriculation certificate or equivalent.
Application Deadline
Two (2) weeks following the start of the programs or two (2) weeks following the announcement of the final results.
Please be aware that the Statement of Results or final Certificate provided by the following examination board serves as the student’s IGCSE qualification’s “ACTUAL RESULTS” in this case:

General Terms and Conditions for All Scholarships
- The scholarship ONLY covers tuition fee deduction in subjects enrolled for the first time (first attempt), NOT for the ‘repeat’ subjects.
- General fees must be paid according to Sunway University/Sunway College (KL)’s enrolling and fee policy.
- The scholarships apply to the year of admission, and not the year of application.
- Students who has credit transfer/exemptions will not be eligible for Scholarship.
