The Jeffrey Cheah Foundation was formally established on March 18, 2010, in the presence of the Royal Patron, H.R.H. the Sultan of Selangor, by the Honorable Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak.
The Sunway Education Trust Fund, which was founded in 1997 and formalized Sunway College’s position as a not-for-profit educational institution, has been replaced by this self-sustaining entity established by Tan Sri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah, AO, the founder and trustee of the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation.
The university invests all of its surplus funds back into scholarships, research, and facility improvements on campus.

- SPM/ STPM/ Diploma/ Foundation/Pre-University/ Matriculation certificate or equivalent.
Application Deadline
Two (2) weeks following the start of the programs or two (2) weeks following the announcement of the final results.
Please be aware that the Statement of Results or final Certificate provided by the following examination board serves as the student’s IGCSE qualification’s “ACTUAL RESULTS” in this case:

General Terms and Conditions for All Scholarships
- The scholarship ONLY covers tuition fee deduction in subjects enrolled for the first time (first attempt), NOT for the ‘repeat’ subjects.
- General fees must be paid according to Sunway University/Sunway College (KL)’s enrolling and fee policy.
- The scholarships apply to the year of admission, and not the year of application.
- Students who has credit transfer/exemptions will not be eligible for Scholarship.
