Campus Information
The current RM350 million campus, which sits on 22 acres of great land in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya. This campus is fully equipped with academic, residential, and sports facilities. It also is one of Malaysia largest and most contemporary private universities.
Our campus has wireless connection (Wi-Fi) available 24 hours a day in classrooms, lecture halls, cafeterias, libraries, concourses, and open places that are favorable to student conversations, communications, eLearning, and working on course assignments.
The University places a high importance on security and has established a 24-hour Security and Auxiliary Police & Security unit with full auxiliary police status.
Academic Facilities and Resources
Sunway University as one of best universities to study in Malaysia is well-equipped with first-rate academic resources. There are over 120 classrooms and 15 lecture theatres, all of which are properly air-conditioned and outfitted with cutting-edge instructional technology.
The Main campus has 24-hour wireless internet (Wi-Fi) access, making it possible to connect to the internet practically anyplace on campus.
During the school day, computer laboratories allow students to complete homework and provide services such as printing, scanning, and photocopying.
For specific courses, specialized academic facilities are used. Psychology, computer, nursing, and ADTP programs all have their own laboratories.
This laboratories include simulated wards and skills laboratories for nursing training, observation rooms for psychology, computing research labs for computing, biological science labs, and science labs for practical work (ADTP).
SHSM students have their own floor dedicated to their programs, which includes a training restaurant and delicatessen, a mock-up hotel room and travel office, and a pastry demo kitchen.
Sunway Graduate Center
The recently constructed Sunway Graduate Center facility serves as an extension to Sunway University and Sunway College KL, including lecture rooms for lectures.
The building also includes a number of study areas, which allow for more fruitful dialogues and improve students’ learning experiences.
The Observation Deck, Study Deck, and Roof Top Terrace, with a total area of 657 square meters, equipped with tables, chairs, and sofas, providing a favorable and comfortable studying atmosphere.
The terrace also includes the Panoramic Suite and Student Hub, which frequently host special occasions and events.
The study areas include a breathtaking panoramic view of Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Pyramid, as well as abundance of natural light throughout the day, making them ideal for students who prefer open study environments.
The Observation Deck also offers light drinks to assist students relax while studying or having a talk.
Library
The Library has three levels, with a total floor area of 72,000 square feet and seating for 1,300 people.
Individual and group study, Silent Zone, Group Project Pods, Training Rooms, computer clusters, Viewing Zone, Collaborative Zones, Instructional Lab are library parts.
An extended hour study space open until 2.00AM every day are among the teaching and learning resources available.
The library extensive collection includes print, audiovisual, and electronic resources.
Users can use their laptops or mobile devices to access e-resources both on campus and remotely from anywhere in the world. The library equipment are:

Student Support Services
Student Life Department of Sunway University is located at the Student Centre. It provides a variety of professional and consulting services.
The counselling unit, administration of extracurricular clubs and organizations, alumni office, and many conveniences like as a sick bay and travel bureau all contribute to a supportive and pleasant environment.
Among the most active student development initiatives are PRePARE, the campus career center, and the LEAP employability training program.
PRePARE organizes CV-writing workshops on a monthly basis and uses its large network to prepare students for the working world.
Through events such as career discussions, corporate visits, Job Shadow Day, and soft-skills seminars, the LEAP program assists students in upgrading their skills.
The International Office (IO) looks after the welfare of foreign students, medical insurance claims assistance, and the application and renewal of student visas.
