The BA Digital Film Production explores the creative and professional aspects of film production such as short film and documentary, scriptwriting, sound design, acting, transmedia content creation, editing, being an entrepreneur, and internship with the largest and most valuable programs. Sunway Bachelor of Digital Film Production aims to produce flexible creators skilled in multimedia production and transmedia application across many screens in order to improve capability and competency in Malaysia’s expanding creative sector.
The knowledge gained in this course of study will be applicable to a wide range of traditional and new job opportunities within and beyond the present media landscape, which has been transformed by digital technology.
Students will be completely trained in the program of study, surrounded by notable staff and working with modern equipment and facilities. they will also be taught critical thinking and communication skills so can reach their maximum academic potential. Students will build an excellent portfolio of work by the end of the program, the finest of which will be screened at end of year Public Graduation Showcase.
Graduates will also get a degree from Lancaster University upon satisfactory completion of the program. They will receive two certificates, certifying that they are graduates of both Sunway University and Lancaster University.

General Requirements
International Students
- International students from specific countries who wish to study at Sunway University (for example, programs in collaboration with Lancaster University) must first complete and pass our online six-month International Preparatory Program (IPP). This is a prerequisite for enrolling in a Sunway degree program that also leads to a degree from Sunway’s partner university. To progress to the degree program, students must pass all subjects with a grade of C or higher.
