Biomedicine is a discipline of medicine concerned with the development of medical tests and treatments for current and emerging dangers to human health.
This degree teaches anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, cell biology, and genetics, all of which have significance in modern medicine and public health.
Graduates will gain critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that will be essential in understanding global health trends and biomedical research breakthroughs.
Graduates will also get a degree from Lancaster University after satisfactory completion of the program. They will receive two certificates, certifying that they are graduates of both Sunway University and Lancaster University.

International Students
- International students from specific countries who wish to study at Sunway University (for example, programs in collaboration with Lancaster University) must first complete and pass our online six-month International Preparatory Program (IPP). This is a prerequisite for enrolling in a Sunway degree program that also leads to a degree from Sunway’s partner university. To progress to the degree program, students must pass all subjects with a grade of C or higher.
