IB Diploma Program (Grades 11 – 12)
Students in Grades 11 and 12 may enroll in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), a step toward university and professional courses, after gaining a solid foundation in academic prowess and transferable abilities.
For the following reasons, the IBDP is one of the most popular pre-university programs:
Its educational method is the result of more than 40 years of experience and research.
The flexibility of its pedagogical and curricular structure makes it suited for international education around the world, as it has no unique attachment to one culture or one national curriculum.
Students have developed research, study, and time-management skills and are proficient and functioning in at least two languages.
IB Diploma Program Courses
Students must choose one subject from each of the first five groups, as well as one more subject from any of the remaining six groups, for the IBDP:
- Group 1: Studies in Language and Literature
- Group 2: Language Acquisition
- Group 3: Individuals and Societies
- Group 4: Sciences
- Group 5: Mathematics
- Group 6: The Arts
Students can develop in their best language, additional language(s), social sciences, experimental sciences, mathematics, and the arts as a result of this choice. Overall, students will gain research, communication, presenting, and performance abilities, all of which are essential for critical thinking and autonomous learning.
An IBDP student must also complete the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course, a research project (Extended Essay), and time in the fields of community service, personal development activities, and artistic pursuits in addition to the six courses (CAS).
Students will achieve holistic outcomes as they go to their selected institutions by combining six examined topics, obligatory community and personal development activities, a major essay on knowledge development, and the completion of a major research study.

Applicants must complete the application procedures, which include completing an English and mathematics Readiness Assessment. Applicants must fulfill the minimal standards in these competencies in order to be eligible for the grade academic expectations.
As a general rule, while determining an applicant’s eligibility for the grade applied, SIS will take into account the applicant’s age at the time of beginning.
