The industry-relevant BSc (Hons.) Accounting & Finance degree is recognized by significant global professional organizations and focuses on important topics such as business reporting, financial control, audit engagement, treasury, performance management, regulatory compliance, and professional ethics. In keeping with the International Federation of Accountants’ goal of “Accounting for Sustainability,” students will be encouraged to consider sustainability when making professional decisions in your future career.
Sunway Bachelor of Accounting and Finance will give students a deep awareness of how accounting and finance fit into the larger framework of company and management. Students will be equipped with the analytical and creative abilities needed for success in today’s rapid corporate world marked by quick change and innovation. As digitalization remakes the fundamental competencies of accounting and finance professionals, data management and analytics modules are being added to the expanded curriculum.
Besides of these technical abilities, the program emphasizes the development of soft skills like as communication, negotiation, teamwork, and leadership, which are necessary for personal and professional development and advancement. The two internships provide an excellent opportunity to broaden one’s skill set, build a larger professional network, and increase one’s self confidence. Graduates who successfully complete the program will be awarded a Lancaster University degree in addition to the Sunway University degree.

International Students
- International students from specific countries who wish to study at Sunway University (for example, programs in collaboration with Lancaster University) must first complete and pass our online six-month International Preparatory Program (IPP). This is a prerequisite for enrolling in a Sunway degree program that also leads to a degree from Sunway’s partner university. To progress to the degree program, students must pass all subjects with a grade of C or higher.
