Sunway Bachelor of International Hospitality Management is designed to prepare students to be international leaders in the hospitality industry. This three year curriculum combines technical knowledge and management ideas in an applied and practical setting within hospitality operations, food service operations, and culinary operations. This curriculum also provides students with life-long learning skills that emphasize industrial practices, management abilities, and research competences in order to prepare you for a smooth transition into the working world.

An 18-week internship will provide valuable practical work experience. This degree is approved by Le Cordon Bleu, and alumni receive two credentials upon successful completion of the program: one from Sunway University and one from Le Cordon Bleu, a premier global school in culinary and hospitality education.

A-Level Minimum 6 points

Sunway Foundation in Science Technology

Sunway Foundation in Arts
CGPA 2.0
Unified Examination Certificate Maximum 28 points from 5 subjects

(all Grade Bs)

Sunway Diploma CAVG 40% or CGPA 2.0
International Baccalaureate Completed with minimum 254points (excluding bonus points)

General Requirements

  • Any other equivalent qualifications
  • Applicant with no standard qualification will be considered on a case-to-case basis

English Requirements

  • IELTS or equivalent 5.5 (With no individual band below 5.0)
  • MUET Band 4
  • SPM English B3 or B+
  • UEC English B4
  • O-Level English (1119) Credit
  • Sunway Intensive English Program (IEP) Pass Level 4
  • ESL/English Satisfactory level in Pre-University programs, where the medium of instruction is English
