Sunway Bachelor of Computer Networking Security graduates of this degree will be knowledgeable in computer hacking investigation and prevention, opening the way for a potentially profitable career in the field of computer and networking security. There are global opportunities in sectors where networking and information security professionals are in high demand, such as the banking or financial industry, major private organizations, or the government.
Information networks are essential to an organization’s ability to perform vital tasks. To ensure that these infrastructures are resilient and operational, highly trained networking specialists are required. Threats to networks are constantly expanding and evolving. Security rules must be able to ensure correct evaluation of internet traffic in order to appropriately filter malicious individuals.
A 12-week industrial attachment will also provide students with access to computer and networking security practices in business and industry. Graduates will revolutionize the world of information security by providing a solid foundation that will lead to internationally recognized occupations provided by EC-Council (a US-based IT Security Certification Body):
Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH)
Graduates will also get a degree from Lancaster University after excellent completion of the program. They will receive two certificates, certifying that they are graduates of both Sunway University and Lancaster University.

General Requirements
- Any other equivalent qualifications. An applicant with no standard qualification will be considered on a case-to-case basis
- CGPA 2.5 equivalent and any other qualifications will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
- Graduates from Foundation/Matriculation programs without a credit in Additional Mathematics subject at SPM level to enrol and Pass a Mathematics Enhancement subject offered by the program and credit in Mathematics and one subject from either Science, Technology or Engineering discipline at SPM level
International Students
- International students from specific countries who wish to study at Sunway University (for example, programs in collaboration with Lancaster University) must first complete and pass our online six-month International Preparatory Program (IPP). This is a prerequisite for enrolling in a Sunway degree program that also leads to a degree from Sunway’s partner university. To progress to the degree program, students must pass all subjects with a grade of C or higher.
