About the Program
Chemical engineering is a field that deals with inventing and designing procedures to manufacture, alter, or move materials and products.
In order to research problems and develop solutions for issues like safety, efficiency, and sustainability, it blends knowledge of the natural, experimental, and living sciences with elements of math and economics.
Future-looking materials and technologies are pioneered by chemical engineers, who also develop and oversee industrial processes that transform raw materials into the most usable products. They also design machinery for chemical manufacture.
Major social problems in energy, human health, manufacturing, and sustainability are resolved by chemical engineers.
To develop sustainable manufacturing processes, sturdy chemical plants, and safe equipment design, they draw on their knowledge of material and energy balances, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, separation technologies, chemical reaction kinetics, reactor design, and process design.
Sunway university chemical engineering provides up a wide range of rewarding professional opportunities.
Petroleum refining, plastics, paint, the energy sector, textiles, food processing, cosmetics, biotechnology, water treatment, medicines, and environmental engineering are all businesses that use chemical engineers.
Bachelor and Master of Chemical Engineering
The Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with Honors at Lancaster University and the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honors (BEng Hons) at Sunway University is recognized as being equal (MEng Hons).
Graduates of the BEng Hons program from Sunway University who successfully complete the course work will also receive the MEng Hons degree from Lancaster University.
As a result of receiving two degrees, they now are graduates of both Lancaster University and Sunway University.
