Taylor’s Bachelor of biotechnology program is designed to give you with a thorough education and training in biotechnology, with a particular emphasis on three major areas: agriculture, medical, and industrial biotechnology.

You will have the option to participate in hands-on practical workshops throughout the program, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in real-world scenarios. These hands-on experiences will assist you in developing critical laboratory skills and procedures for the field of biotechnology.

Their progressive program is intended to provide you with the scientific principles and expertise required to succeed in the biotechnology sector. Molecular cloning, genome editing, cell tissue culture procedures, bioinformatics analysis, bioprocessing technologies, and research and development methodologies and instruments will all be covered.

Program Structure

As a student in Taylors Bachelor of biotechnology, you will be able to investigate a wide range of critical components in the field of biotechnology. Entry Requirements

Prerequisites

  • SPM / O-Level with Pre-U / Foundation
    • Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits in Mathematics and one science subject for entry with pre-university /foundation qualification. (Except for UEC)
  • SPM / O-Level with Diploma
    • Pass SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject for entry with Diploma qualification.

  • A Pass in UEC with Min 5Bs including Mathematics and one Science subject

  • Min. EE for 2 subjects
South Australian Matriculation (SAM) / SACE International
  • ATAR 60
Canadian Pre-University (CPU)
  • Min. average of 60% in 6 subjects
International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Min. 24 points based on 6 subjects
