Entry Requirements
Taylors provided two admission routes for this PhD program: regular mode and prior to publication mode. Their PhD by Prior Publication method offers a unique approach to a Doctorate based on your current body of work. They respect your earlier works and incorporate them as an important element of your Doctoral grant proposal.
General Requirements
- Masters in the Engineering/Engineering Technology or its equivalent; OR
- Passed Bachelor’s degree Engineering/Engineering Technology or its equivalent with min. CGPA 3.67 and registered as a Masters candidate and passed related qualifying assessment; OR
- Any other equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian government OR accepted by the Taylor’s University Senate and Any of the above condition would require student’s research proposal to be approved.
- IELTS 5.0 / TOEFL 40 (Internet Based Test) (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score) The validity of the IELTS or equivalent is within 2 years from the date of the examination.
