Program Structure
The MBBS courses is separated into two parts, each of which is aimed to give students with a complete and detailed medical education:
Phase 1 (Years 1 and 2) focuses on providing students an excellent basis in medical sciences while also pointing out them to the field of clinical medicine.
During the Taylor’s Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program students will have the opportunity to practice fundamental skills such as taking a history and doing physical examinations.
These abilities will be developed through hands on practice with real patients and models. Students will learn how to recognize patients’ concerns and offer appropriate research plans during these interactive sessions.
Phase 2 (Years 3, 4, and 5) takes the learning to the next level by putting students in real world clinical rotations in Ministry of Health affiliated facilities.
This step provides them with an excellent opportunity to obtain hands on experience working directly with patients.
Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and abilities from Phase 1 to real world medical problems. During this phase, they will cycle across numerous clinical fields such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Intensive Care, and many more.
This broad experience ensures that students receive a well rounded undergraduate education.
After completing Taylor’s Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program, students will be awarded a distinguished MQA-accredited MBBS degree that is highly recognized and acknowledged around the world.
