Taylor’s Bachelor of Chemical Engineering program is designed to offer students with a solid foundation in the fundamental theories and ideas of chemical engineering. Taylors mission is to provide you with the information and skills you need to economically and securely turn raw materials into useful products while reducing environmental impact.

You will learn the fundamentals of chemical engineering throughout the curriculum. You will get a solid knowledge of the ideas and concepts that support the profession, providing the framework for your future success. From thermodynamics to fluid physics, reaction engineering to process control, you will study a wide range of subjects important in chemical engineering.

Entry Requirements

This program provides an interesting opportunity for those who are interested in the subject of Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. Please keep the following entrance requirements in mind to facilitate a smooth admissions process.

Prerequisites

  • SPM / O-Level with Pre-U / Foundation
    • Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits for entry with Pre-University/Foundation qualification
  • SPM / O-Level with Diploma
    • Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 3 credits for entry with Diploma qualification

  • CC with min. CGPA 2.00 including Mathematics and Physics / Chemistry
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
  • Pass with 5Bs including Mathematics and Physics / Chemistry
A Levels
  • Min. EEE / equivalent of 120 points including Mathematics and Physics / Chemistry
South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/SACE International
  • ATAR 65 including Mathematics (preferably Specialist Mathematics) and Physics / Chemistry
Canadian Pre-University (CPU)

 

  • Min. average of 60% in 6 subjects including Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors and Physics / Chemistry
International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Min. 24 points in 6 subjects including Mathematics and Physics / Chemistry
Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY)
  • Overal 50% including Physics A&B / Chemistry A&B and Mathematics A&B
