Engineering Labs

Students enhance the engineering principles learned at various levels through practical sessions and hands-on laboratory work in fully-equipped labs.

These include labs for Analogue and Digital Electronics, Communication Engineering, Power System, Robotics, PLC Controls, Pneumatics and Automation, Mechanical Equipment, Mechanical Workshop, and Materials and Testing Laboratories.

In the Engineering Design laboratory, they have installed software like MATLAB, LabView, NI Multisim, and SolidWorks to assist students in studying and understanding the latest high-tech engineering design and simulation methodologies. They make all these resources available to students for their engineering projects and assignments.

Students can concentrate on project development in the final year project room, and the APU Centre of Robotics Engineering offers advanced robotics research opportunities and competition participation for students.

IT Labs

All students have access to cutting-edge computing resources, such as the most recent PCs and workstations with Internet connections, operating systems, software suites, and programming tools, in a variety of IT labs designed for project work, multimedia production, software, and internet programming.

You will also have access to wireless Internet throughout the campus, allowing you to study whenever and wherever you like.

Green Screen Studio

For the newly created programs from APIIT School of Media, Arts and Design (SoMAD), which are related to the broadcasting, advertising, and post production industries, the Green Screen Studio, which is located at Level 3 @ APIIT Campus, provides media production services.

Upon reservation, it is accessible to all APU & APIIT employees and students, and will also help fund other programs, clubs, and societies-related events.

The studio boasts a variety of professional tools, including lighting systems, a Dolly track, a Canon DSLR camera, and a Sony XDCAM camcorder.

To keep noise and outside disruptions at bay during video or photo sessions, they have soundproofed the walls. They have also added a 10-seat roundtable to foster a comprehensive learning environment conducive to fresh ideas and innovation.

Furthermore, they have reserved a section of the studio as a showcase for student work, displaying outstanding creations to inspire other students.

Design and Drawing Studio

While working on their design and drawing-related assignments, students should find the Design and Drawing Studio to be a comfortable.

The studios are available to students upon reservation and are fully furnished with Mac laptops and Wacom drawing tablets.

Computer Games Development Studio

Alienware Desktop PCs are well-equipped at their studio to offer a quality games-development experience. You can converse, connect, and share ideas in the offered mini-lounge with greater ease.

APU XR (Meta) Studio

The APU XR (Meta) Studio, a pioneering facility featuring technology for developing augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR) applications, stands as a testament to their partnership with Ministry XR Malaysia.

They have equipped the studio with the latest technology. This includes a 360-degree volumetric video capture zone, an EDEX (extended education experience) station, and proprietary VolCap software..

Serving as an XR/Spatial Computing lab, they designed the EDEX Station for shared and collaborative educational experiences that excite, energize, and stimulate.

This immersive setting promotes technical explorations, research advancements, and breakthroughs in instructional design.

The National Sports Complex in Bukit Jalil is close to the APU campus. It allows you access to top-notch sporting venues for swimming, football, hockey, squash, and a variety of other physical activities.

Swimming facilities are already accessible at their current lodging in Fortune Park and Endah Promenade. APU modern swimming facilities, which are situated on the APU Campus, is open to employees and students since the middle of 2022.

APU Accommodation

After courses, students can gather in their multipurpose student lounge on Level 3 of the On-Campus Accommodation building for a spacious and welcoming gathering place.

They have equipped every floor of Block E with accessible, thoughtfully designed restrooms to cater to individuals with physical disabilities.

These restrooms allow individuals with physical impairments to use the facilities, either independently or with assistance.

The toilet cubicle doors are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, and the interior offers sufficient space for maneuverability.

They have also installed grips to provide the necessary support for users when they use the toilet. Above all, they prioritize cleanliness and hygiene; their staff fully sanitize the cubicles every day, and consistently replenish the tissue and soap dispensers.
