Entry Requirements

This program provides an interesting opportunity for those who are interested in the subject of Fashion Design Technology. Please keep the following entrance requirements in mind to facilitate a smooth admissions process.

Prerequisites

• SPM / O-Level with Pre-U / Foundation
  • Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits with a pass in Bahasa Melayu and History in SPM for entry with pre-university or foundation qualification. (Except for UEC).
• SPM / O-Level with Diploma
  • Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 3 credits with a pass in Bahasa Melayu and History in SPM for entry with Diploma qualification.
• Pass Visual Test
  • (Taylor’s Foundation in Design, Diploma in Design and Foundation in Natural & Built Environments are exempted from the Entrance Test)
• Portfolio Assessment
  • Students without a pass in SPM or equivalent Art subject must pass the Visual Aptitude Test (VAT) or Drawing Test or have a design portfolio review.

South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/SACE International	Min. ATAR 60
Canadian Pre-University (CPU)	Min. average of 55% in 6 subjects
MUFY	50%
Foundation and Diploma from other institutions recognized by Malaysian Government	Min. CGPA 2.00
MOE Matriculation	Min. CGPA 2.00
DKM/DKLM/DVM	A pass in DKM/DKLM/DVM in suitable fields with a min.  At least have two (2) years working experience in a related discipline. CGPA of 2.50 subject to Senate approval OR A pass in DKM / DLKM / DVM with a min.
Other Qualifications	Students with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
