Entry Requirements

General Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00; Note: A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology not meeting CGPA 2.75 (but not lower than 2.00) is acceptable subject to rigorous internal assessment (knowledge-based interview) by an independent review panel; OR
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in any field, AND a minimum 45 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or a graduate diploma in Psychology; OR
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in any field, AND a Master’s degree in Psychology with a minimum 45 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or graduate diploma in Psychology; OR
- Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement accepted by the HEP Senate / competent authority in Malaysia. AND
i. Personal statement (no more than 500 words) which outlines why the applicants wish to be considered for the course and their relevant skills. While clinically relevant work/volunteer experience is not a course entry requirement, applicants who have undertaken relevant work/volunteer experience may wish to include this as part of their personal statement.
ii. The applicant must submit a minimum of two confidential referee reports: one from an academic referee—highly encouraged to be the research supervisor—and one from a professional referee outside the academic context. Additionally, the candidate must pass the Selection Interview arranged by Taylor’s University.

- IELTS 5.0 / TOEFL 40 (Internet Based Test) (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score) The validity of the IELTS or equivalent is within 2 years from the date of the examination.
