Artificial intelligence refers to machines, primarily computer systems, replicating human cognitive processes. Specific AI applications include expert systems, natural language processing, voice recognition, and machine vision. This article explains the AI program at APU University.
As the hype around AI has grown, companies have been quick to highlight how they employ AI in their products and services. Often, what’s labeled as AI is actually a subset of AI, like machine learning. AI requires a base of specialized hardware and software for building and training machine learning algorithms. While AI isn’t linked to a single programming language, Python, R, and Java are popular choices.
