APU BSc Multimedia Tech in VR/AR aims to teaches students:

Degree Level 1
In year 1, students of APU BSc Multimedia Tech in VR/AR will get basic skills needed for multimedia jobs, along with a simple understanding of how to code and design systems. They will also learn about tools like 3D pictures and digital images. These lessons will help them improve personal skills and be more creative. Additionally, there is a special part that talks about using multimedia in virtual and augmented realities called Introduction to VR/AR.

They will explore media scripting and advanced multimedia methods deeper. It is also essential to understand and consider user attentions, like cultural or regional influences, when looking into User Experience and HCI and Usability. During this year, students can further explore their study areas through final projects. Also, they will learn more specialized topics, such as creating virtual spaces and overlaying computer images onto real world views.

APU-DMU Dual Degree
Students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Program are presented with the opportunity to join the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. By choosing this pathway, upon graduation, students will be awarded two Degree Certificates & Transcripts: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and another from De Montfort University (DMU) in the UK.
