APU BA in Business Management aims to equip students with:

Degree Level 1
In year 1, students will obtain a foundational knowledge of the environment in which businesses function, encompassing areas like Management, Law, Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. Additionally, APU aims to introduce them to vital business and communication abilities, computer & IT expertise, numerical proficiency, and the art of self learning. All their Business Management courses share a unified initial year to ensure students receive a robust base in both business management principles and methodologies.

Degree Level 2
In year 2, students will study more advanced topics like how people behave (behavioral science), rules for good business (business ethics & governance), how to think carefully about management, and how to communicate with people from different countries (international culture & communications). They will also learn more about how to manage different parts of a business. In addition, they will use special software from a company called SAP to understand how businesses work better. APU will also help them learn on their own, which is important for when they start working or want to study more.

Internship
To bridge the gap between academic and professional worlds, students will experience an Internship or Industrial Training for at least 16 weeks. This ensures they transition smoothly from academic settings to real world jobs.
Degree Level 3
Students will build upon their earlier learning and work experience to enhance their knowledge in addressing current and challenges in business management. They will receive training in leadership and high level management techniques, preparing them to step into roles as business leaders. In their final year, they will begin a project on a chosen topic, showcasing both their theoretical and applied skills in that selected field of study.

APU-DMU Dual Degree
Students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Program are presented with the opportunity to join the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. By choosing this pathway, upon graduation, students will be awarded two Degree Certificates & Transcripts: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and another from De Montfort University (DMU) in the UK.
