Industrial Design

The Industrial Design Courses at APU are designed to make sharper your individual and teamwork skills in creating an array of products and promotional attempts.

This includes creating advertisements for various mediums like print, online platforms, and broadcasting, alongside designing packaging and other marketing aids.

Their practical approach allows you to explore designing diverse items ranging from toys and cars to lighting, furniture, household items, and tech products for consumers.

Design and Creative Media

Everything we want, use, or buy has design behind it. When a design is good, it looks nice, is easy to use, makes sense, and people want to buy it. Good designers know how to make things look nice and work well. They also know how to talk and write about their designs and understand other people’s feelings and needs. At APU’s Design & Creative Media courses, students will learn by doing creative activities. They will get to make pictures and graphics that help share messages in a clear way.

At APU, Design & Media courses are made to help you understand the real work world better. They work closely with companies and professionals to make your learning better.

The partners help APU make lessons fit what the industry needs. They often take students to visit these companies so they can see how things work.

APU also set up activities that show students different job options. In addition, they help students create their own collection of work, called a portfolio, which they can show to future employers.

APU holds the advantage of being Malaysia’s premier Toon Boom Centre of Excellence (COE)! The Toon Boom COE initiative identifies leading educational institutions that exceptionally communicate modern storyboarding and animation methods and tools.

With the COE status, their learners enjoy certain benefits. They receive a complimentary desktop subscription to the acclaimed software and have unrestricted access to all the educational materials provided by Toon Boom.

iWISERS

iWISERS operates as a Social Intelligence and Digital Marketing firm, supervising over 200 brands throughout the APAC region.

They offer Social Analytics and Digital Consultancy, making brands stronger to evaluate their digital marketing efficacy, benchmark against competitors, and clarify their promotional tactics.

As a proactive IAP member of SOMAD for the Digital Advertising Program, iWISERS also plays a important role in educating their students through internship initiatives.

Lemon Sky has rise up to a leading position in the video game sector, boasting a team of 300 creative experts dedicated to creating visual art solutions for their collaborators.

They been the enter into art outsourcing choice for major global brands, including Blizzard Entertainment, Naughty Dog, 2K Games, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Microsoft Studios, EA Sports & Games, and Sega.

In collaboration with SOMAD, LemonSky has extended opportunities for our school’s students to gain experience in VFX and Animation realms.
