The program aims to teach students:
- Produce professional and dedicated Project Managers who should lead in the development and maintenance of projects based on International Standards. This program want to teach consultants, engineers, and executives from any industry with necessary knowledge and processes for delivering organizational value and benefits through projects.
- The program aims to develop skills in strategic thinking, leadership, and best practices that will enable leaders to spearhead business initiatives and projects with greater assurance. In addition to meeting the needs of aspiring candidates or professionals, the program will also strengthen and develop the skills of existing project management professionals.

This part of the course develops on the Research Methods module to provide students with the challenge and experience of conducting and reporting research in one of the formats described below: an academic paper, a case history of a business or business practice, or an industry standard consultancy report.
APU-DMU Dual Degree
Students enrolled in the Masters Degree Program will have the option to participate in the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Students will receive two Degree Certificates and Transcripts upon graduation under this Scheme: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and one from De Montfort University (DMU) in the United Kingdom.
