Program Outline

The program aims to teach students:

Courses

The course of study includes 2 preparatory courses (for non-computer students), 10 coursework parts, and a project.

There are 7 required Core Courses, and you must select 3 electives from the list.

Project

Students must complete industry-based significant projects as quickly as possible, but the emphasis must be on a good demonstration of how computer-related technology may be used in an organizational context. The project is supposed to design, recommend, or implement new solutions to the problem areas.

APU-DMU Dual Degree

Students enrolled in the Masters Degree Program will have the option to participate in the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Students will receive two Degree Certificates and Transcripts upon graduation under this Scheme: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and one from De Montfort University (DMU) in the United Kingdom.

Admission Requirements

General Requirement

Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00, or its equivalent qualification as acceptable by the Senate.

Bachelor’s degree with CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00, but below CGPA 2.75; is acceptable with rigorous assessment (include test, interview or portfolio).

Bachelor’s degree with CGPA below 2.50 out of 4.00, or qualification which is equivalent is acceptable with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in related field.
